Our story - why we do what we do

We are passionate about this - cleaning is not a commodity - Indeed we almost called ourselves  " Not A Commodity Ltd" but the email address looked a little odd :-)

The fact is cleaning is an essential service that safeguards people and communities. Without trained technicians cleaning and sanitising hospitals, doctors, dentists, vets, factories and offices would have to close.

You will notice that we don’t refer to our teams as cleaners or operatives  — we call them Hygiene Technicians.

 Each one is trained to the highest standards and equipped with the right knowledge, tools, and technology to deliver measurable results. 

They take pride in their work and are paid the Real Living Wage, reflecting our belief that quality service starts with valuing people.

We simply got tired of working for and with businesses that promised much but delivered little. 

That shouted about how much they cared for their teams but refused to pay a Real Living Wage. That failed to properly train their teams and blamed them when things went wrong, that said they were "green" and used environmentally friendly products...but did not.

We found it frustrating seeing too many workplaces, schools, and healthcare facilities fall short of the standards people deserve — from incorrect colour coding and poor hygiene practices to a lack of investment in staff training. 

We knew things could be different. That’s why we set out to change how cleaning is delivered and perceived  bringing structure, technology, and purpose to an essential service.

We will not take place in a race to the cheapest price, we pay our hygiene technicians the Real Living Wage and provide industry leading training. We need experts to maintain the integrity of our buildings.

Instead, our experts - Chartered Environmental Cleaning Practitioners - help organisations across education, healthcare, and the corporate sectors create safer, smarter, and more sustainable environments where people can work, learn, and thrive.
